Mobile wallets are a type of wallet installed as mobile applications that allow users to make payments using their smart devices – both online and in stores that can take payments through the wallet (i.e.  NFC – Near Field Communication).  Mobile wallets allow the storage of credit card and debit card information, authentication information, and funds on a mobile. Furthermore, secure and safe transactions are possible because mobile wallets use many layers of security and encryption.
